About Us
We Advocate for Your Business
The Cassopolis/Vandalia Chamber of Commerce seeks to further the collective business interests of our communities while advancing the economic well-being of all local organizations. We work with and collaborate with the local government even though we are not a government entity and do not receive any government funding. First and foremost we promote member businesses in publications such as our business directory, a comprehensive website, and social media, and through member referrals and our work with other chambers of commerce and business associations in Cass County, Michigan.
No one understands your business better than you do, but a chamber of commerce is a great resource for your business’ success. For those unsure of where to start, the first thing to do is attend a few meetings. From there, you can ask other members how they are involved and what opportunities are available.
Community Involvement
As with chambers of commerce everywhere, the Cass/Van Chamber partners with other chambers and local organizations to help bring awareness to local needs. In this way, we provide business owners with opportunities to get involved in the community. We actively support the revitalization of downtown Cassopolis and Cassopolis Main Street, whose mission is to “spark excitement, cultivate community, support local businesses, and increase traffic to and awareness of the Cassopolis are through engaging community events and philanthropy,” Our members are involved in the many seasonal events and festivals focused on bringing people downtown to experience and celebrate the revitalization of Cassopolis.
Networking Opportunities
Beyond our monthly meetings, the Cass/Van Chamber helps you promote your business through networking events. Some of the best-attended networking events have been our after-hours business meet-ups, our annual golf outing, the Edwardsburg Area Chamber of Commerce Business Expo, and the many seasonal events that Cassopolis Main Street sponsors in downtown Cassopolis, at the Stone Lake beachfront.
Join Us
Our board meets on the third Wednesday of the month and we welcome all members and prospective members. (We do not meet in July.) Join us and see how we can help you promote your business.
Whether you’re looking for B2B partners and sales, help with customer and employee acquisition, or guidance on HR processes, a chamber of commerce can help. We come from diverse backgrounds and offer a wide range of skills to help each other grow.
